5.9R in Philippines

A 5.9R in the Philippines was reported in the last few hours at the epicenter shown in the map above. The earthquake at 20km depth was close to Davao City and shook some people.
There have been no reports of casualties or damage to buildings as of yet.
According to testimonies on Earthquake-report, there have been reports of people "screaming" in the province of Bukidnon on the island.
Moreover, the earthquake hit approximately 92km (56 miles) from the city of Davao.
Another person said: "Very strong quake."Another person also wrote: "About 20 secs shaking.
"We were really scared that I ran out of my bedroom."
Mindanao is the second-largest of the Philippine Islands and was hit by a 6.8 magnitude earthquake last month.
The devastating earthquake was the second to hit in just two days and killed five people.
There was also reports of damage to several hundred homes in the southern part of Mindanao.
During the earthquake, at least 10 people were thought to be trapped inside Eva's Hotel in  Kidapawan, according to the New York Times.
The USGS said the quake was magnitude 6.5 and hit around 25 miles southwest of Davao City in Kisante.
Just two days previous to the quake, a sperate earthquake caused a large amount of destruction in the same region.
