New Zealand's cloud scene over the last 10 days. As we have explained cloud anomalies can be and are being used as an earthquake precursor. I think it is very hard to be able to recognise normal from abnormal clouds. However some people have the image processing capabiliy to be able to do so and even work out the magnitude from the cloud length.
