NEW DELHI: A strong earthquake of magnitude 5.5 on Richter scale hit Myanmar-India border region today morning.
A 5.5 magnitude earthquake hit Myanmar-India border region at 7:11 AM this morning,” news agency ANI reported quoting India Meteorological Department (IMD)
There were no reports of casualties or damage to property yet.
Yesterday, an earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale hit Delhi and its surrounding areas. The earthquake was measured at a depth of 16 kms.
The epicenter was Chhajiawas in Haryana, about 100 kms from the capital.
