Apr 19, 2016- Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli sent a condolence letter on Monday to Shinzo Abe, prime minister of Japan, for the loss of lives and destruction of property in devastating earthquakes that hit Kyushu Island and the Kumamoto prefecture of Japan.
According to a Foreign Ministry statement, the PM said: “I, on behalf of the people and the government of Nepal, would like to express deep condolences and sympathy to you and through you to the government and people of Japan over the loss of precious lives and destruction of property.” The government assured Japan that Nepal is with the Japanese at their hour of grief.
