A 6.1R was reported this morning in North of Ryukyu Islands in Japan. This was a deep earthquake of 238km!

According to the USGS, the epicenter was farther than 100 miles from a city.
In the last 10 days, there have been no earthquakes of magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
