This 6.2R powerful earthquake was reported a few minutes ago in the Timor Region in Indonesia. We have no news yet of any damages, but we warned and were expecting a >6R event today, and it seems it has arrived.
Earlier this month Lombok, an island popular with tourists, was rocked by a series of devastating tremors. Around 500 people were killed and more than 350,000 people were forced to flee their homes fearing aftershocks. Authorities said relief efforts were underway after the jolts, which caused at least £263 million ($340 million) in damage.
