Biggest earthquake in 50 years 'to hit US' after 10-day reign of terror tremors

This is an article from the Daily Star, a popular newspaper in the UK.
A VIOLENT 9.3 magnitude earthquake with the power to trigger a killer tsunami could wreak havoc in America at any time, experts have warned.

It's feared the US is not prepared to deal with a natural disaster on such a large scale dubbed the "big one".
A staggering ten tremors have shaken the California area over the past 10 days.
But the monstrous earthquake set to tear through the US would have more power than deadly tremor that hit Japan five years ago.
Thousands of lives were lost in the tragedy as the natural disaster took out nuclear reactors in 2011.
The Cascadia Rising emergency tests indicate the San Andreas Fault in California is capable of 8.3 magnitude quake.
But this is still concerning as the notorious 1906 earthquake that tore through San Francisco had a lower magnitude of 7.9.

“Subduction zone earthquakes are said to be among the most powerful and can exceed a 9 magnitude”
Earthquake experts
A spokesperson for the agency said: "Subduction zone earthquakes are said to be among the most powerful and can exceed a 9 magnitude."
The latest 3.6 quake struck yesterday, three miles from Yucca Valley according to the US Geological Survey (USGS).
Experts were preparing how to combat a earth-shattering disaster in the Cascadia Subduction Zone when the Californian quakes erupted.
More than 200 aftershocks were sent out after the mid-sized 5.2 earthquake hit Borrego Springs, San Diego County, California last Friday.
Caltech research professor of geophysics Egil Hauksson said: "It was the biggest one for awhile."
The increasing force behind the earthquakes has led to fears of what to expect from the big one.
