A 7.1R earthquake has been reported in the Molucca Sea in Indonesia. The epicenter is shown in the map above, at 72km depth. Below we see the expectation today to be a strong day, as the moon - earth - Mercury - arth is a strong alignment as shown below.
The powerful quake has also triggered a tsunami alert in the region. Indonesia’s seismological agency issued the tsunami warning for nearby coastlines.
