Oklahoma earthquake numbers fall for the first time

OKLAHOMA CITY —For the first time since the major uptick in earthquake activity, earthquake totals start to fall.

The last four consecutive months earthquakes of magnitude 3.0 or greater have been on the decline.  Earthquake activity has exponentially increased since 2009 in Oklahoma reaching a peak of 97 total quakes for one month in June of this year.

For October, Oklahoma earthquake activity was half of what it was in June of this year.
