FAST WARNING 'PRESTO' MESSAGE from the SIDC (RWC-Belgium) 2017 Mar 27
13:31:29

The arrival of the high speed stream (HSS) from the huge negative polarity
coronal hole(CH) earlier today (00:00-03:00 UT) has created a strong
geomagnetic disturbance. Now, Kp reached major storm levels (Kp=6) during
the 09:00-12:00 UT interval, while K Dourbes was at minor storming (K=5)
during the same time slot. Kp is currently 6 (27-Mar-2017 December, 13:30
UT) and the solar wind speed is around 552 km/s, while Bz varying mostly

The geo-environment is expected to remain under the influence of the HSS
for at least next two days, which will result in further minor to major
storm episodes.
